Calling all Rally Competitors!!
You can be a part of the action on what promises to be a fantastic weekend of Irish Rallying and Motorsport!
But please note the following message from the Rally Clerk of the Course, John Carroll.
“Just like recent events, where entries are in a steady decline, we are preparing for a difficult road ahead. Despite the mammoth effort from club members and others involved in the event, we are faced with a major rumour campaign amongst the motorsport fraternity, be that competitors or others, that the event will not run. Be assured, we will continue to push forward to protect motorsport.
Today we have 40 entries and we need the support of competitors to enter with their full commitment that they will be on the start line in Trim on July 2nd. No Motor Club wishes to be the first club to fail to run their rally in 2017 because of the Insurance Crisis or rumour.
We call on all past ALMC competitors to come out and support us, to do ONE MORE EVENT to ensure there is a future for Irish Motorsport”
Entries will be open until the 2nd July and, as always, the ALMC Motor Club promises you a warm welcome, three very challenging Stages, short Road mileage, spacious Service area, as well as readily available and reasonably priced accommodation, all in a very central, accessible part of the country.
YOU CAN BE PART OF IT!
